We know intuitively that the arts can create a healing environment and transform an austere medical place into a community of healing.
Fall Winter 2017
Happy Autumn! In the past month we have begun three new projects within the Lower Mainland, presented to a clinical team at Kelowna General Hospital, and consulted on the creation and placement of public art in the new mental health unit at Vancouver General Hospital. We continue our work on the Haemodialysis Unit at Vancouver General Hospital, and await the “go ahead” on two major programs that will begin in the new year.
You can transform and enhance the recovery process and build relationships while supporting creative development and learning.
This is an even evolving space where you will find current articles, videos and links to research on the role art plays within hospitals.
